Checks and money orders can be mailed to the following address: PO Box 339, Lake Junaluska, NC 28745. All checks should be made out to "Lake Junaluska Assembly, Inc.". Please be sure to include the bottom half of your bill or write your utility account number/service charge invoice number on the memo line to ensure the payment is applied to the correct account. NOTE: Please do NOT use colored inks when writing or signing checks.

We can accept checks, money orders, credit or debit card payments (NO CASH) during our normal business hours. We also offer a secure payment drop box, located at the front curb for convenient "drive-up and drop-off" check/money order payments.

APW Online Bill Pay

This method allows customers to conveniently pay their utility or service charge bills online using a credit or debit card with no additional fees. Payments are posted to the customer's account on the next business day, and can also be scheduled in advance or set up for automatic payment on a recurring basis. With an Online Bill Pay account, customers wil bills by email as soon as they are finalized, and also have access to their account summary, billing history, and monthly water usage. To setup account access or make/schedule a payment, please visit the Online Bill Payment site.

Online Payment Through Your Bank or Credit Union

Many financial institutions offer their customers the ability to pay bills via an online bill payment service through the bank's website. Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account for the amount owed, and then send a paper check to pay off the bill. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account, so customers using this method are encouraged to do so as early in the month as possible to avoid late charges. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Please consult with your bank for more information.

NOTE: Payment of Service Charge Bills

Service Charge payments can be submitted in the following ways:

  • Online through the Online Bill Payment site
  • Check/money order by mail, in-person, or at the drop box
  • Credit/debit card payments over the phone or in-person
  • Automatic Bank Draft is not available for these bills

* Doxo Warning *

Customers have recently reported being directed to the website doxo.com to pay their bill online.

Doxo.com is NOT an authorized affiliate of Lake Junaluska Assembly Public Works.  It is a third-party website that charges people to pay their water and sewer bills via their site.  Furthermore, the Assembly Public Works has no control over when we will receive the customer payments from doxo.com, which could possibly result in late payment fees being added to your account or even service termination for nonpayment.

Benefits of using our website to pay your bill include that there is no fee; and as soon as you receive confirmation of your online payment,  we have viewing access to confirm the payment is pending.

We strongly recommend that you avoid all third-party online bill pay solutions and pay only through our site; or use one of the other options listed above. If you have questions or concerns, please call our office at (828) 452-5911.
